Do you worry you’ll spend the rest of your parenting years:
Life and society have changed since we were children, but parenting hasn't kept up. No one teaches us how to be the kind of parents we long to be nowadays.
Without intentional parenting methods we often slip into the parenting styles that we ourselves experienced as children, and these often don't work or get the results and connection we long for.
I get it—it's difficult to admit that parenting is hard and we need help. Instead we keep appearances because we think others have it all together. I understand how truly hard parenting can be and the shame of feeling like you're failing...I've been there.
No one talks about it, especially in Christian circles where a level of perfection is expected, but the shame is there, like a dirty secret.
When you contact me you’ll be met with:
I will personally help you to learn and grow into the parent you truly want to be, bringing peace and joy to your home. I'll be there with my expertise to guide and support you every intentional step of the way. Together, let's empower you to be the intentional parent you truly want to be!
I've been a wife since 1996. I've been a mother since 1998. We have four beautiful young ladies in various stages of the lifespan. I have dedicated myself to my role of parenting and a homemaker for over 25 years. I consider it a privilege and a blessing. It is the hardest thing that I have ever done and yet the most rewarding in many ways. I get the added privilege in this season of my life to expand my purpose beyond the borders of my home and help parent(s) navigate one of the most important role in the world.
I'm a certified Jai Parenting Coach that loves to empower parents to take IN-tentional steps towards parenting their children with compassion, faith, and love.
A parenting Coach provides
-guidance
-education
-accountability
I help parents create their own empowered parenting model rather than fixing, prescribing, or diagnosing.
My methodology is parent-centric, meaning that I focus on skill building, coaching, and behavior-change strategies for parents and adult caregivers.
I utilize evidence-based frameworks of:
My coaching frameworks include:
You will learn how both the dominant (power over) and the permissive (power under) parenting-creates disconnection, resentment, and rebellion and instead adopt a more relational empowered paradigm of parenting that:
As a coach I will use a model that supports parents to successfully break through their limiting beliefs, assumptions, and conditioned reactive behavior.
The goal for my clients is to come away from our sessions feeling empowered to:
This will contribute to more peace in their households and improved harmonious family dynamics.
The most effective way for me to support parents and caregivers is to offer the full 12-week curriculum-based series. Since my methodology is not oriented around behavior modification of children but rather on the caregiver's patterns, we will need more than a few sessions to uncover and work through the challenges you're facing.
Over the course of the three-month program, clients see big and lasting shifts in their relationship with their kids, themselves and other people in their lives.
The in-between call time is your chance to put into practice the work that we do in our sessions.
This is a curriculum-based program, so the best case scenario is the information and education happens mostly between sessions through the extra materials in the online portal that is included with your sign-up.
Every week you will have access to:
I encourage you to set aside time when it works for you to watch the videos and do the reflections in the workbook. The work book facilitates deep reflection and very important heart work to help you in the growth and change you long for, (most clients need about 30-90 minutes a week). In addition it will allow us to go deeper in our sessions making it truly meaningful.
